Through Entertainment we can get Oxygen

Dynamic and creative director S S Rajamouli blenched his career from the film STUDENT NO. 1 as a director and till date his success is going on developing higher and higher. His earlier movies SIMHADRI, SYE, CHATRAPATHI, VIKRAMAKUDU including his recent block buster movie YAMADONGA, all were created a sensation and tremendous successful and mesmerized the entire mass. As a result he succeeded and stood as one of the best directors of Telugu Cine Field. There will be excellent settings and spends enormous budget in making films. His thoughts, deeds, settings, and stories will be powerful and never compromises in any respects. He said, he is going to direct a film for Ramcharan, which is going to produce by Allu Arvind on the banner of Gita Arts. His recent film YAMADONGA has become sensational hit and completed 50 days in about 400 centers. In this connection, he had transactions with press.

What lessons you learn from the film YAMADONGA?

I learnt that I did not lose the aplomb which kept on the audience. Further, I got full confidence that I have been succeeded in making socio fantasy film, by which I can make mythological movies without fear in future.

Is it not heavy financial burden and risk in making mythological movies? Not only expenditure and risk, but it is also very difficult in making mythological movies. However, to make such films I never go back and compromise, but I am ready to bore the burdens.

Further, it will be very difficult to highlight the magic in mythological films like fantasy films. What do you say?

When we are making films with dedication and full heartedly then, I do not think about the difficulties, but I take as a challenge and mould as per the requirements. My aim is to entertain the audience; hence I work hard and feel no need to become hurry burry. It is an example that my recent movie YAMADONGA is producing oxygen and without any sort of confusion I can proceed to make mythological movies.

What is the secret behind you and Jr. NTR in making all successful hits?

I know very well what he is and he knows what I am fully. We both came to know the taste of the successes. More than that, we both have full confidence on each other. This itself brought success for us.

NTR treats you like his brother. Then, at the time of cinema shootings how you will react with him?

The style of Tarak is entirely indifferent. He is an excellent and energetic immensely talented hero who can entertain the audience still about 40 years more. Whatever dimensions we have observed on him are very less. But he had many distinctions which will become more sharper. Hence, I used to say only one thing to Tarak that do not spill out keeping in view of the present results, and said to think what benefits can be achieved after 10 years.

Why do you thought to highlight the great legend NTR on the silver screen? Is it for impressing the fans of him?

Really speaking this film is pertaining to him. Moreover his grand son is acting. Hence, I thought it will be better to highlight these two great heroes in one frame and created a special place in the story. Whenever NTR appears on the screen entire audience enjoyed a lot by expressing their happiness with their clapping. Whatever, we thought the same 100 percentages results we got. When many of the audience expressed their unknown feelings and emotions and shared their joyfulness of pleasure with us, we also felt very emotion. Such place was occupied in the hearts of Telugu people by the great NTR until now.

Rajamouli film means it will be huge budgeted movie. What do you say?

No doubt, definitely it will be huge budgeted film, because my thoughts and stories will be in higher range. Further, if we want to entertain the audience the budget should be high including good story. Hence, I make films to entertain the audience and remain in their hearts for ever and I never compromise in that matter.

What expectations do Telugu people can keep on your films?

Telugu people can have higher expectations on my movies. I have many ideas in making historical movies. However, at present days the quantity of historical themes has been extremely reduced. But, I am planning to make one film on the historical back ground. Apart from making folk story films also.

Most of our films are made on the basis of entertainment only. Is it not possible to make any special theme stories?

Telugu people are very much interested in entertainment movies. As they have only one facility to get enjoy through cinema. 80 percentages of the people are enjoying by entertainment movies. But if I make an art film and say the audience to watch and enjoy, they will not agree by this. Hence we are compelled in making such films only. We proceed by the encouragement given by the audience and nothing contrary to them.

If it abides like this, then what guarantee is there for our Telugu films in winning National Awards?

Telugu Cine Industry also producing many art films. Otherwise how it was possible to come out the film SHANKARABHARANAM? There are many films which stood in National level and won the awards. However, most of our films are good entertainments.

In one of the press meet you have announced that after watching the film CHIRUTHA, you will direct for Charan’s film. When you are going to start?

It will be full of mass entertainment and action oriented. The film is going to produce by Allu Arvind on the banner of Gita Arts.

How do you feel about the action of Ramcharan?

His appearance is very nice. Particularly the performance of fights and steps which were performed by him was very ease and excellent. However, it will be very difficult for any artiste in appearing in close up shots, mainly in the sentiment scenes. But I did not find such difficulty in him though it is his first movie.

When you are going to start your next flick with Charan Teja?

We are planning to start the shooting, may be in the month of December 2007 and will be released by August 2008.

Mr. MEDHAVI appears in indifferent style

The film Anand fame Raja and glamorous Genelia are playing as main lead pair in the film MISTER MEDHAVI. B Ramarao is producing on the banner of Life Style Art Pictures under the direction of Neelakanta. The talkie of the film was completed and post production works are going on with brisk speed. In this connection, the director said our hero is an employee in one of the corporate firm. He falls in love with one of the NRI who comes from abroad. However, in the beginning he had friendship with that beauty and gradually became intimacy with her.

But how that friendship and intimacy developed as love is suspense said by the director. The story and storyline is very attractive and impresses entire family members and enjoy the film. Producer said that after completing other related works we will release the film in the month of November 2007.

Tanushri Dutta in Thailand

Bollywood titillating portrayal Tanushri Dutta is molded as Kanchana in the film DOLE directed by Priyadarshan. Her character is to attract all the heroes through her beauties. But that role did not give her fame. This film was made first in Telugu under the title of MADHURANAGARILO. It was translated in Hindi and made as DOLE.

As she did not get sufficient name and fame in the above film, she agreed to act in the film RAM THE SAVIOUR which is meant for children. At present the shooting is going on in Thailand. In this connection, Tanushri Dutta said in the past I came to Thailand and Bangkok. But I could not felt happy and enjoy in the past. However, Now I am feeling very happy. We are roaming in the forests of Bangkok for shootings. This is the first time we are roaming in the forests. I have taken special training in Marshal Arts to act in action scenes. It is hair-rising to act between wild animals. My role will be equally like Angina Julie who acted in the film TOMB RIDERS said by this beauty.

Sixty Crores in Fifty Days For 'Chak De India'

Yash Raj's Shah Rukh Khan starrer, 'Chak De! India', has entered the 50th uninterrupted day of its run last Friday and still has more than 250 prints in circulation. The Shimit Amin directed film, that has now assumed cult status, is the second highest earner in Bollywood this year ( behind 'Partner') and has so far netted close to 60-crores from India. Mallika Plays Villainous Role

Super Star Kamal Hasan is playing ten different roles in the film DASAVATHARAM. KS Ravi Kumar is directing and Ravi Chandran is producing the film. Svelte beauty Asin is playing main female lead opposite Kamal Hasan. Another Yester Sizzling star Jayaprada is playing in special characteristics. There is news in the entire Tamil Nadu that Asin is playing as female villainous role. But, she condemned the news and clarified that she is playing as heroine and the news which was spread around the Tamil Nadu is false from truth. Further she slipped her tongue and opened the secret by saying that Bollywood sexy damsel Mallika Sharawat is playing the villainous role in this film.
In addition, she said still there is one more duet song which is to be filmed on me and Kamal Hasan. This is to be completed at the earliest possible she added. Whatever the news spread against my role is not correct. Actually that negative role is performing by Mallika Sharawat. Previously Producers planned to release the film as a gift for Diwali Festival. But due to many related pending works including graphic works it may take some more time to release the film said by the director of the film.

John & Bipasha

Mumbai, While couples like Aishwarya Rai-Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor-Shahid Kapur can't seem to get enough of each another, Bipasha Basu feels she spends ample time with her boyfriend John Abraham."We've more than enough time together. While we're in Mumbai, we are always together after shooting. And while we're on separate outdoor locations the time we get to spend away from each other is very important for our relationship. We can't be together constantly," said Bipasha. Bipasha admits John and she are discussing marriage. "But not right away. There's still time." Apparently, John is busy hunting for a larger house for the future alliance."John is very practical and has a great business sense. He's busy hunting and buying property. Let's see what the future has in store.

"For now, we were very happy doing another film together. I was a little apprehensive after our last film, 'Madhoshi'. We hadn't enjoyed the process of making that film. But now after 'Goal', we're thinking of signing another film together. But I repeat, we don't need to work together to get time together."

Charan has best future

The movie is opened to frenzied mobs at the theatres. Ram Charan's energetic performance and Puri Jagan's weak story, screenplay and Super-like direction are juxtaposed against each other. The story is weak. Screenplay and direction by Puri Jagannath will sure disappoint the audience in a big way. Some of the scenes are routine, outdated, but shown with gloss.Puri Jagannath tried to justify the title Chirutha through hero's words to the villain: "My looks are like Chirutha." The same looks are used at the heroine too! .Music by Mani Sharma is an asset to the film. Picturisation of all songs are good, with maximum focus on the hero. Naturally! A majority of the eight songs turns speed breakers to the progression of yet a weak story.
This movie is not to the expectations of the viewers. In overall the performance of Charan has proved his talent excellently though Chirutha is his debutante film and he has best future.

Nana Patekar as TRUCK DRIVER

Nana Patekar and surprises go hand in hand. The passionate actor is yet to start his second directorial venture (a generation-challenged love story for which he wants Rani Mukherjee in the female lead).

But he's busy with various acting assignments, the latest being a Raj Kumar Santoshi production to be directed by Rakesh Sarang. The film, a comedy entitled Horn Ok Please will feature the volatile Nana as a truck driver.

"It's an out-and-out comedy," says a source from the film. "Nana Patekar excels in comedy. He was the first and last choice for the trucker's role."
