Shyam Benegal film in RFC


Director Shyam Benegal is one of the top most directors of India. He was a native of Hyderabad and settled in West Bengal and made many message oriented movies. He won many awards both from people and governments also. Recently Government of India has given a prestigious award DADASAHEB PHALKE AWARD to him for his service in films. As he is native of Hyderabad and interested to make a film, he selected Ramoji Film City for his new venture…. In his new film……

Except one guy all other people of that village are illiterates. Entire people come and approach him to write letters to their relatives. Because all others are illiterates as said above and it was become necessary to them. In this process one young teenage girl like him very much by his writings. From there what happened and which border the story went is suspense said by the director Shyam Benegal.

It is a Hindi film Shreyas Thalpade, Amrutha Rao are playing as main lead pair. The shooting commenced at R F C on Tuesday. In this connection, Shyam Benegal said Ramoji Film City is perfectly suitable for making films in all respects without any troubles. Hence he decided to shoot entire film here only. Further, he said though it is a generation of sending e-mails, in this village only letters is their communications. In this concept I am making this film. Chetan Motiwala is producer for the film.
